Knowing stuff makes you feel more sure of yourself than worried. That's why Seviyaar wants you to learn as much as you can about being pregnant while you're expecting. Our classes for moms-to-be cover everything from what happens during labor to breathing correctly and managing pain. Our food classes show you how to plan healthy meals that are good for you and your baby. We also have workout plans made for pregnant women, so you can stay in shape, feel better, and get ready to give birth. We even get dads involved, teaching them how to help out and support you. Plus, we take you on tours of the hospital so you know where to go and what to expect, which can calm your nerves. And in our classes on having a baby, we teach you the basics of caring for a newborn, how to breastfeed, and what to expect when you first bring your baby home.

Postnatal Recovery & Newborn Care

The first few weeks after giving birth are super important for both mom and baby. At Seviyaar, we give you all the support you need after your baby is born to help you feel better and stronger. Our care includes regular checkups to see how you are healing, how your womb is doing, and to catch any problems that might come up after birth. We have breastfeeding experts who can help you learn how to breastfeed and handle any common issues. We also check on your mental health for any signs of feeling very sad or worried after birth because your feelings matter just as much as your body getting better. We offer baby care classes that teach you the basics, like giving your baby a bath, changing diapers, and knowing when your baby might be sick. Our children’s doctors will check your newborn, looking at their movements, growth, and critical early skills. We will also give you a schedule for your baby’s shots, tips on feeding, sleep routines, and what to expect in the first few months.

FAQs

First prenatal visit?

Book your first visit as soon as possible after confirming pregnancy, ideally around 6–8 weeks. Early prenatal care helps build a health baseline and detect any potential risks early.

Are safe vaccines available when pregnant?

Yes. Flu and Tdap shots are both safe and recommended for you and your baby. Avoid live vaccines. Your doctor will check your records and advise which ones you need.

Exercise while pregnant?

In most cases, moderate exercise is safe and beneficial. Great options include walking, swimming, and prenatal yoga. Always check with your doctor before starting or continuing an exercise routine.

What warning signs require immediate medical attention?

Contact your healthcare provider immediately for severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, headaches with vision changes, reduced baby movement, or fluid leakage. These may indicate serious complications.

How often are checkups?

Typically, prenatal visits are monthly until 28 weeks, then every two weeks until 36 weeks, and weekly after that. High-risk pregnancies may require more frequent checkups.

Does Seviyaar offer birthing classes?

Yes! Seviyaar provides childbirth preparation classes covering labor, pain management, breathing techniques, and baby care. These help reduce anxiety and prepare you for delivery.

How to handle labor pain?

Several options are available: epidurals, IV medications, nitrous oxide, and natural techniques such as water immersion, breathing, or movement. We’ll review all options to find what works best for you.
